Community activities:
       The faculty has sound reputation in the River Nile State and is able to highlight the culture integration and partnership between government institutions and civil society organizations and contributes in the formation of community networks at the state level, localities and sectors. These networks are now involving in the program of cross-development in the state. As a result, the Ministry of Higher Education and Research scientific school called the deans Community Development faculties in Sudanese universities for the first constituent assembly on 6 - 06/10/2006 AD at Nile Valley University to reflect the experience in these areas.
       This faculty has been able to create a dynamic cultural and social activities in the state of the River Nile through cultural weeks in which scholars from inside and outside the Sudan participated in the celebrations of many of the graduation events with the presence of River Nile State governor. There is apparent presence and contributions from a number of state governors, ministers, advisers. Her Eminence / wife of the President Republic honored

 the graduation ceremony of the first batch  of Atbara Centre graduates.
       This active participation of the faculty reflected in its membership in the following committees outside the university
1. Head of the civil society organizations network in the state.
2. Membership of the Board of Directors of the Radio and Television of the River Nile State.
3. Representation in the Executive Office of the Organization of Wabil Charity.
4. Committee of early detection of breast cancer in the state.
5. Advisory Council for Child Protection in Atbara.
6. Membership of the curricula design of kindergartens in the state.
7. Membership of the ruling and management sector emanating from the Cabinet of the Government of National Unity in the state.
8. Membership of the mechanism of the development of proposals to fight poverty at the Ministry of Information and Social Affairs.
In addition, each rural center has a Board of Trustees to contribute in the development committees  and voluntary bodies to provide research, studies and advice in different areas.
