of the Faculty of Community Development at the
University of the Nile Valley was due to the Senate
under the League Council decision No. (19)
at its meeting on 12.29.2004.
The actual beginning was in June 2005 by opening
five branches and praise be to Allah the faculty now
has set up 21 centers in all localities, villages
and rural areas in the River Nile State in order to:
- Raising awareness of rural, community and culture.
- Offering students the skills necessary to serve
the community and develop their knowledge
- Promoting good values and fight harmful
practices and traditions.
Rehabilitation of school drop-outs in areas that
serve the community.
- Highlighting the role of the university in the
service of society.
